The season was a good one for Man Utd who were even stronger this year with the arrival of Robin Van Persie
From the start they looked to dominate on attack with Rooney , RvP , Kagawa , Chicharito and welback . However in the start the defence was too bad ,however in the end they became better .
In the pre season have some good games and the youth were given chances . The newly signed players were able to go with the united tactics .

Season Review :
The start was a shock for the United fans , as they were beaten by Everton and by spurs . But after that they were in a too hot form with RvP scoring in most of the matches and the defenders adding to their tally .
In the start of the season Man Utd had a very bad luck in penalties . But later on , they won many matches due to penalties . After a lot of critizisation last season De Gea proved his talent and even got a place on the national team sheet . Late goals and comebacks which was their hobby in the previous seasons became a routine this season .

Goal Keepers :
When De Gea was in a splendid form , Lindegaard failed on most of the occations . His reflexes and Goal Kick accuracies have been the worse . However De Gea on the other end was worth watching .
Defenders :
As I said earlier the defence was a big concern . But later on they performed well . But the defence line up was often affected by injury as Vidic , Evans , Jones , Rafael got injured . There are many youths developing in the squad .Midfielders :
With carrick playing in the CDM position he helped the attackers as well as the defenders and his form was too very good . Kagawa too played well in the limited chances he got . Fletcher was injured and many even forgot about him . Cleverly and Anderson didn't make the most at the end .
The big problem that Man Utd are currently dealing with about their wingers . Valencia , Young were big flops as nani was too not able to make his presence noted . Guess Man Utd buy another world class winger and with zaha will their wing problem resolve ???

Attackers :
With RvP's form and number of goals he scored he proved Sir Alex he was the one he wanted to buy . Also Rooney contributed with his 16 goals and assists . Chicharito played a great role in comebacks and also scored some good goals . Welback's goal tally was not at all enough with the number of matches he played but his performance on the ground was appreciable .
Also I must mention one important match , that's between Man Utd and Man City . The goal by RvP from free kick was just one splendid shot !!!
Well last season was too emotional for all football fans as Sir Alex Ferguson , Scholes and Beckham retired .
With the same josh and pep Am waiting for the start of the next season . Hope everything is in place and support the next man in charge David Moyes !!
