First they started in the group named G,that's "Group-G" and they topped it,And they didn't lose any of the games in their group but made a draw and 5 wins in a row and made it to the Round-of-16.
And went on to the round-of-16 to face "AC Milan" which was also ended in a dramatic victory for Atletico !!

And it was a shocking moment for everyone for those who told that Atletico were not capable to beat "AC Milan" but they came over it and gave a massive victory !!!
And then they were given a task to beat "FC Barcelona" in the quarter-finals !!! And the fans of Atletico were not happy about it because Barcelona is a big club to overcome and
there were three games in the league between them but all of them ended in a draw.

And easily they made it to the round-of-16 to face "Glatasaray" and the first leg of the knock-out stage was a un-predictable match as it ended in a draw,with "Torres" and "Chedjou" scoring and making it "1-1",The fans of the blues were unhappy about it because Chelsea is team which can easily pass the opponents they thought,So the result of the 1st leg did not impress them so much which made the coach of Chelsea "Jose Mourinho" to make it a win in the 2nd leg and tell to their fans that they are back !!!!
And the 2nd-leg ended in a victory to Chelsea with the score "2-0" with "Eto" and "Cahill"

And so somehow,they made it to the Quater-Finals where they met "Paris-Saint-Germans"or commonly called as PSG,when the draws told that Chelsea and PSG will meet each other there where many speculations running around the fans of the teams !!
